Kindergarten Orientation will be the 30th. A mailing went out last week detailing each child's orientation time. If you are the parent of a K student and have not received it by Thursday, please contact the office for assistance. The first full day for kindergarten students is Wednesday, August 31st.īus lists can be found here: WWPS 22-23 Bus Lists Students with the last names that begin with A-L will attend the 9:30 - 10:30 session and students who have last names that begin with the letters M-Z will attend the 1:00 - 2:00 session. Guardians set up an account and put money on it, students code in their student identification number at meal time and the cost is deducted from the account. Make sure to ALWAYS have a photo id ready, even if you know the staffįamilies are welcome to begin lining up outside the building for dismissal after 2:30 Staff will assist with getting them safely on the crosswalk.Īt parent pick up/dismissal, come with a sign with your child's name, grade and teacher to show the staff If you are dropping off, please make sure your child is ready to exit the car quickly with materials ready to go. We suspend dismissals from the office from 2:45 - 3:15 unless it is an emergency. This allows staff to focus on dismissing all of our students safely. The first two weeks of school take longer than usual to dismiss. Typical parent pick up dismissal takes from 2:55 to 3:05. The staff outside work hard to keep dismissal moving, a kind word is much appreciated! The first two weeks usually take another 10-15 minutes.
